The Houses of Parliament shop makes a point of only purchasing quality UK-made products in order to support British Manufacturing. They have been a very valued customer of ours for many years.
For the last 3 years we have had a stand at the Houses of Parliament Christmas Fayre in the Great Westminster Hall, from which we have sold our products on behalf of the shop. This has given our team a great chance to meet and chat with the shop team, Members of Parliament, employees from the House of Commons and visitors.
We even took along a little hand-print silk screen and some little tubes of ink so visitors to the stand could have a try at printing for themselves – it always proves very popular.
We were also really thrilled when the Houses of Parliament shop asked if they could feature our company, with a blog and a video, on their Meet the Makers website page.
This involved the House of Commons media team coming up from London for the day in October to film in our factory plus carry out interviews with the team.
